Ortho-Chlorobenzaldehyde (2-Chlorobenzaldehyde) is a liquid chlorinated derivative of benzaldehyde that is used as a brightener for acid zinc plating and a chemical intermediate in organic synthesis, production of CS gas, agricultural pesticides.
