SBXTM Gel is a room temperature brush-on instant-acting blackening agent for all ferrous metals exempting stainless steel surfaces. Aqua Bond has a different product for stainless steel surfaces known as SSBXTM Gel. The advantages of the new SBXTM Gel is that it can be swap-on, operator has better control of drips and runs, designed to stay-in-place in vertical surface areas, the unique gel eliminates loss of product due to run off, inhibits flash rusting of the surface, eliminates spray application mist hazardous to the operator, and is easier to achieve consistency and uniformity in shorter time period for the operator - better control. The gel product is a safer product, more economical since less waste, and better for the environment, for the professional operator who follows all the guidelines. SBXTM Gel finds application in tools, fasteners, firearms, inside furniture, indoor steel sculptures, touch-up of scratched or damaged black oxide sculptures or fireplace installation pieces that are welded, steel sheets, and interior architectural surfaces such as steel stairs, railings, and framing.
