Sodium Hydrosulfite

Sodium hydrosulfite (Sodium dithionite) is a white crystalline powder and a reducing agent, which is commonly used in water treatment, cleaning, stripping, gas purification, and dyeing.
It is an effective reducing agent used in the dye industry to eliminate excess dye, residual oxides, and undesired pigments, which improves the overall colour quality. It is also a sulfonating agent and a sodium ion source in industrial processing and a decolorizing agent in organic reactions.
