Weldphos CSR

Weldphos CSR is the traditional chrome seal rinse formulated to be applied in the final rinse stage of phosphate conversion coating. It is recommended for use in aluminium, iron, magnesium, and zinc substrates to provide corrosion resistance and and adhesion between the metal substrate and the subsequent coating.

Weldphos CSR is a chrome seal rinse that is applied in the final stage as a phosphate seal in iron/magnesium/zinc phosphate stage. The purpose is to improve corrrosion protection by forming a chromium phosphate passivate layer. This product is easy to use and control rinse concentration. The seal affords longer protection and good bonding to the paint being applied to the surface.

It reduces hard water blistering, and improves corrosion resistance of iron, aluminum and zinc
substrates.
